Andrew has worked in and around Sabin Metal Corporation since he was nine years old. He became President of the company in 1980 after the passing of his father Samuel Sabin. He now sits as Chairman of the Board. During his time at Sabin Metal he played a pivotal role in transforming the business. He founded Sabin Commodities, led our international expansion, and guided our diversification into industrial catalysts.
He’s a naturalist at heart and through his philanthropy he has helped protect habitats and animal species around the world. He loves spending time with his family, including his four sons and five grandchildren. He graduated from the University of Denver with a Business degree.
Bob entered the industry in 1983 and has spent his entire career at Sabin Metal Corporation. He joined the company’s Futures Brokerage division, working on the trading floor for Sabin Commodities, the company’s Precious Metals trading organization. In 1986, he became a member and registered floor broker at COMEX, a CME Group derivatives exchange, where he represented Sabin’s clients in the execution of gold and silver futures transactions. Since then, he has transitioned to corporate operations where he oversees contracts and negotiations.
Bob is an avid fisherman and you can find him most summer evenings strolling the beaches or out on the water. He graduated from Stony Brook University (New York) with a Biology degree.
Jim joined Sabin Metal Corporation in 1988 as a computer programmer and advanced to the position of Director of IT. He later moved to the Commercial division and assumed the role of Commercial Manager. In 2004, Jim accepted the position of General Manager where he currently oversees Sabin’s Scottsville, NY operations. In 2019, oversight of operations at our Williston, ND facility was added to his responsibilities.
Jim enjoys spending time with his family, raising chickens, and skiing. He received a Computer Science degree and a Master of Business Administration (concentration in Finance) from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).
Cindy has been involved in the precious metals industry for over 40 years. She started her career as a clerk on Prudential’s metals trading desk and rose to VP managing a precious metals trading unit. She later joined Heraeus Metals in New York where she was involved in the physical side of trading, helping global units manage their precious metals needs and proprietary positions. She joined Sabin Metal Corporation in 2016 where she leads the metals management team. She’s responsible for trading, option strategies, bank lines, inventory, customer pool balances and risk management.
When she’s not in the office, you can find Cindy enjoying East Hampton’s beautiful golf courses, beaches and hiking trails. She graduated from Pace University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
Brad joined Sabin Metal Corporation in 2012 and became VP of Sales and Marketing in 2015. He has over 30 years’ experience in the precious metals industry and has served in a variety of roles—from machine operator and department supervisor, to inspector and ISO auditor, to Senior General Manager of a Metals and Minerals division. Brad has been a member of the International Precious Metals Institute since 1999, has served on its Executive Committee since 2007, and was the President of the Institute for the 2012-2013 term. He has written numerous articles for industry publications and has made dozens of presentations on precious metals.
Brad enjoys spending time with his wife and family in Colorado, traveling, and playing golf.
John joined the Sabin Metal Corporation team in 2012 and became Controller in 2015. His responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the Accounting department, financial reporting, retirement plans, employee benefits and Human Resources, as well as the various insurance plans of the corporation. He also constantly monitors new technologies and processes that could improve the organization’s efficiency and performance. Prior to joining Sabin Metal Corporation, John worked in public accounting for 15 years where he gained expertise in tax strategy as well as small and mid-size business financial reporting and auditing.
John is an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills.
Brent began at Sabin Metal Corporation in 1989 in the laboratory. He later expanded his experience by working in the Production and Environmental Departments. In 2004, he became Technical Director. One of his most notable achievements was developing the process to recover rhenium from petrochemical catalysts. Now called Pyro-Re, the process produces catalyst-grade ammonium perrhenate and is only available at Sabin Metal Corporation.
At Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Brent developed and constructed an operating gas turbine engine based on an automotive turbocharger single-handedly to study; he is also a RC and 3D printing enthusiast. Brent received a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from RIT and an AAS in Chemistry.
Marc joined Sabin Metal Corporation in 2012 and currently serves as Corporate Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Previously he worked in the litigation department of JP Morgan Chase and has interned with the Special Court for Sierra Leone.
He enjoys reading and was proud to serve as a Trustee of the Amagansett Free Library in Amagansett, NY. Marc received an MA in Philosophy from The University of Edinburgh and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where he focused on international business law. He was admitted to the New York Bar in 2010.
Marcy started at Sabin International Logistics Corporation in 2006, a year after the company was founded. In 2010, she became the General Manager overseeing trucking, fleet compliance, operational duties, and administrative functions. Marcy has been in the transportation industry for 27 years with vast experience in arranging different modes of transport for a variety of commodities, from produce to water park slides.
She’s an animal lover who along with her husband takes care of three dogs and two feral cats in Western New York State.
