COOK JOINS SABIN METAL AS GENERAL SALES MANAGER

Bradford M. Cook

has been appointed general sales manager at Sabin Metal Corp., East Hampton, NY refiner of precious metals serving a variety of industrial processes, according to an announcement from Kevin M. Beirne, Sabin’s vice president sales and marketing. In this newly-created position, Cook will be responsible for sales for the Americas and Asia, according to Beirne.

Cook joins Sabin with an extensive background in the precious metals industry, having served for the past 22 years at Inspectorate America Corp, Houston, TX where he began as a field representative for the northeastern U.S. and Canada and advanced to sales and marketing management positions in both North America and Europe. In 2006 he was named general manager for the company’s Precious Metals division, and advanced the following year to senior general manager for Inspectorate’s North American Metals and Minerals Group where he was responsible for over 40 employees and 80 subcontractors throughout North America. Prior to his affiliation with Inspectorate, Cook was a supervisor at Boliden Metech in Mapleville RI where he was responsible for settling precious metals lot contents with the company’s customers and representatives.

Cook was honorably discharged as a staff sergeant from the U.S. Army where he served three years’ active duty and three years as an active reservist. He has been a member of the International Precious Metals Institute Executive Committee since 2007 and is currently serving as president of that organization. In his spare time, Cook enjoys traveling with his family and his work with the Sixth Grade Fellowship which he co-founded at the Clear Lake United Methodist Church in Houston TX. Cook is married and the father of two children.
